Sam Dzata George undoubtedly is the finest communication arsenal - TopicsExpress

Sam Dzata George undoubtedly is the finest communication arsenal this government can trust. Communication is his forte - his fluidity over the Queens is awesome. Hes got all it takes to be unstoppable in the remit of speaking his mind with might, in clear factual grammatically acknowledged tenses. He was the guy my eye was on relative to the Propaganda Secretarys office of the party. Hes cut for it and I was bit disappointed by his decision not to contest the position. His occupation of the position would have been the return of the universal soldier of setting the records straight. Hes one of the three youthful blood who inspires me and sustain my interest in politics against the backdrop of formidable language. All other things being equal, I will forgo my precious time to listen to this trio on any platform. The other two is Hon Hon Murtala Muhammed and Hon. Haruna Iddrisu. Hon. Haruna Iddrisu by all litmus measure is the boss player. If you want to kill him, please dont give him an opportunity of his last words. Sam George is a master of his own class. And trust me, he alone is a caché that suffices any NPP machinery of mischief and aggression. From afar and on this platform, I have monitored with much orgasm, how he floored baby elephants with utter humiliation. I was thrilled with ecstasy yesterday when he Santa Claused Kofi Ofosu with some confectionary for the Christmas. Nonetheless, Sams elevation diatribe to Ivor Greenstreet was distasteful! However, on a score out of ten, I will give him nine. Yeah, its not a typo. I mean nine but not none. I wont begrudge anyone who feels Sam Georges elevation to Ivor Greenstreet was innocuous or coincidental or semantic. Such feeling might be genuine political biases, outright Devils Advocate or lack of appreciation of communication whatchamacallit. Sam needs some self-introspection and moderation of his utterances. I have witnessed his debilitating venom even on party members on social media. He has no measured response to issues. He feels the ace must be played once its in hand. In order words, he thinks every nail problem must be handled with a hammer. He has to be meticulous and choosy about his words particularly on big platforms with greater audience. He should be considerate on the kind of people he uses his sledge hammer on. People try to play semantics with the word elevation and I find it very disingenuous! I want to recommend the book, Power Verbs and Phrases for Managers and Executives by Michael Faulkner, to proponents of the elevation gobbledygook! Words do not have meaning in communication. Their meanings are deduced from where they are used, when they are used, motivation for their usage, to whom or from who, et al. Lets consider this quote from Power Verbs and Phrases for Managers and Executives: It’s not what you say. It’s what people hear (Luntz 2007, xi). The meaning of this is the audience will translate your message through a prism of their own biases, interests, knowledge, awareness, feelings, attention span, and many other interpretative filters. Once you have spoken words, they are no longer yours. Other people will translate them, evaluate them, and measure them. Choose your words, make them appropriate for the situation, and be aware of the power of words. Poorly chosen words or speech used for personal, hubris, or evil can impact selfesteem, destroy morale, kill enthusiasm, inflame bias, incite hatred, lower expectations, hold people back, and even make people physically or mentally ill I believe this excerpt has said it all. There is no gain in bad and foul language. At least, we know how dearly Sir John paid for his knee-jerk premature ejaculations. The NPP went to Election 2008 with solid and winnable records but the unrestrained foul-mouthed Asabee, some slips of JAK, et al cost the NPP sourly. Lets consider this sentence for a debate: Sam George needs to burn some calories to know that the economy is hard. This is a harmless and harmful remark depending on who made it, where and when its said, and the motivation (cause). Yeah, I know your mind has started synthesising the statement with your biases in complement. Ivor Greenstreet is an accomplished astute learned lawyer of great standing. To have put politics aside, Sam cannot battle him on the same scoresheet. Hence, Sams elevation advisedly could not possibly be insinuating intellectual elevation and its relations. The NDC hitherto faced some debilitating challenges. Thank God things are falling in place. In any case the NDC has nothing to show for 2016 Elections, at least they should have a good behaviour to show to Ghanaians. A party that will not be remembered for telling the masses to go and eat konkonte and dry mangoes when they cry of hardship. So, why would I still give Sam, nine out of ten? His choice of the word elevation in the realm of trying to wake up a sleeping person is defensible as far as to Hague. Im just imagining how Sir John would say what Sam said. I salute Sam in the perspective of Voltaires assertion, “the great use of words is to hide our thoughts.” Sam has even made himself more appealing, at least to those who already adore him by the unqualified apology he rendered to Greenstreet.
