Sam Mendes Will Direct Bond 24 Skyfall director will return for the next Bond instalment. Sam Mendes has decided to return for the next Bond film. The director, who previously said he wouldn’t be involved in Bond 24, has apparently changed his mind, signing up to direct the next flick. Speaking in a statement, Mendes said “I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honour all my theatre commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct Bond 24. I very much look forward to taking up the reigns again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G.
