Samairas favorite memories! I was just a little girl while my father was at work, brothers and sisters were in school and my mother was in the house doing chores or preparing dinner. Everytime it rained, it was the happiest moment of my days! I beg mommy if I could go out side and make peace (play in the rain) my mother allowed me to play out side freely. It didnt matter if I had anyone to play with, that was the day I felt closest to God. I danced, I sang, I opened my mouth feeling the gentle rain on my face and I drank every drop I could catch. My most favorite part was to lay on the hot cement curve while the water would flow down to the gutters. Laying there feeling the cold rain against your warm body onto the hot cement, just before a rainbow peeped through and the rain stopped.
