Samantha Maher gave me the number 10. Here are 10 things you may not know about me. 1. I both own and have read (at least once) every book by Stephen King. 2. I can play (at varying degrees of proficiency!) the following instruments: flute, piano, clarinet, guitar, mandolin, ukelele, hand bells, and chimes. 3. I was hospitalized as a child for a kidney disease and missed most of second grade because of it. 4. I am deathly afraid of heights. I once took my kids to the Rio Grande Gorge, and had to crawl on my knees back from the bridge! 5. I love to play pinochle! I play in online tournaments. 6. I once had a mohawk. 7. my first concert was Van Halen-1984 tour. Dokken was the opener. (ok, just aged myself a bit there!) 8. I have a great ear for harmony. I can pick out a third or fifth with ease. 9. I once spent a week in Rome at the Waldorf Astoria. 10. Im a total word nerd. In high school I used to find a new word in the dictionary nearly every day, then tried to use the word as many times that day in conversation as possible. I know. total dork.
