Samir Nasri said Yaya Toure would have been given due recognition @world stage had he not been African. Frequently we see black footbal players all over Europe subjected to racist treatment. And in the so-called most liberal nation, USA, the Election of Obama as Americas 1st black pres was a major issue. Too many whites around the world stil think they are of a superior race & God-ordained to lead blacks & the world. Remniscent of Bothas speech that his clique was unlike other whites who pretend; they openly declare blacks are inferior. Contrary, I am yet to come across a black person who thinks blacks are naturally superior 2 whites. In RSA we want to wish away this race factor, despite only 20 years of having come out of systematic race-based oppression of blacks by whites. Evidence here & the world over points to race as being a significant factor. Many have suggested that the DA is the most relevant party in RSA & that we vote blindly because of history. Denying the gains by the ANC led government, denying also that the ANC, notwithstanding its flaws and shortfalls, has had to deal with many inherited ills. We cant wish away our dark past which stil hinders our progress 2day. If u were black back in the day u were not allowed to invest, white supremists were clever enough to realise that if our forefathers could save for us their privilege could be threatened in future. So of course, the born frees are still affected by apartheid 2 dis day. Until we confront past race injustice, until we have an economic CODESA, race politics is there to stay in RSA. We therefore warmly welcome Malema into our parliament. #I proudly voted ANC
