Sammie Saturday #10 The tea snack theme for August is..... Mushrooms! Look forward to 4 delicious mushroom recipes! Todays recipe is Cheesy Mushroom Baskets! Ingredients: A basket of mushrooms, preferably brown buttons with stalks removed 1 cup Swiss-gruyere cheese shredded Half an onion chopped finely Coarse sweet basil (I used dried) Salt and peppar to taste Directions: In a bowl, mix chopped onions, grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Next generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, making sure to pack it in a bit. Place straight onto a baking sheet and pop it into an oven at 350 degrees F. Cook for 10 minutes. Sprinkle basil on top of each basket before serving. *Optional step* before mixing the onions with the cheese, try sautéing the onions! Bon Appétit !
