San Bernardino Residents for Responsible Government Not surprisingly, City Attorney Boss Penman has put himself in the middle of the Robert Jenkins legal action, despite him having nothing to do with the issue, charges or investigation. This article gives a full account of what this Riverside District Attorney investigation is all about, but in the middle of the story, it reads: “San Bernardino City Attorney James F. Penman presented another side to the story Thursday.” Of course he did. He defends Jenkins with his own side of the story of what HE thinks is happening. Isnt this exactly what we are talking about when it comes to Jim Penman’s politicization and grandstanding? This is a criminal case being tried OUTSIDE the County. Even though the City Attorney’s Office has absolutely nothing to do with the charges or the investigation, Penman still felt the need to insert himself into the story. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Even under threat of recall, Boss Penman can’t help but get in the middle of a scandal that has nothing to do with him.
