San Fran Job: FT nanny NEEDED for 2-year old girl and newborn baby girl who is DUE in August in Presidio Heights! Schedule is Monday-Friday, approximately 8AM-5/5:30PM with flexibility to stay later some evenings for date nights. Pay is $20-$24/hour GROSS, DOE. This position is a split between teaming up with stay-at-home AND being full-charge with both children – must be comfortable in either situation! Family would love someone to start in June to acclimate and get down the rhythm of the job/family dynamics before the second baby’s arrival in early August. Once baby is born, the first couple of month’s will predominately be spent with toddler child as Mom bonds with newborn. Additionally, nanny is in charge of all light housekeeping pertaining to children (kids’ laundry, keeping toys organized, tidying up play spaces and bedrooms, proper sanitization of bottles, pacifiers, etc., keeping baby bag stocked and organized, and preparing toddler-friendly meals). At this point, no driving is required, but nanny SHOULD have valid driver’s license and be able to drive on-the-job if needed (car can be provided). Occasional travel may be required! Ideal candidate has long-term experience with newborns/infants/toddlers (is totally comfortable handling a brand new baby), has experience handling ages/stages of toddlerhood (potty-training, helping with sharing, diffusing jealousy or sibling rivalry, etc.) is extremely professional in attitude and demeanor, and can reinforce positive discipline but respects parents’ philosophies and method of parenting. Furthermore, family wants a nanny who is friendly and outgoing, but does not over-share about their own personal life, and also respects family’s privacy.
