San Francisco, if you dont know about this already, next Saturday should be a really sweet musical day throughout the city. ULUV MUSIC has booked over 100 musicians to be playing in parklets and public spaces throughout the day. Im super psyched to be hosting the space outside of Blue Fig on Valencia at 22nd all day long. Check this out! 12-1pm - Crazy Ottos All-Star Jubilee – Grateful Dead Tribute with Paige Clem, Matt Cohen, Michael Myers on sax (from Tree O Frogs, Dredgetown) and the guys from Spun Hippo. 1-2pm Clem & Them - thats my original stuff with my band. Me and Matthew Amans on acoustic guitar, Marc Bassist Levine on upright bass, and Ed McClary on percussion. 2-3pm Spun Hippo - Sean Hodge, Mike Meagher and Neil Hampton along with me on some tunes. 3-4pm Doogles & Friends - Douglas Garay from The Dedicated Maniacs doing cowboy tunes with yours truly, Neil from the Hippos and Thomas Perry.
