Sanctuary in its original meaning, is a sacred place, such as a shrine. By the use of such places as a safe haven, the term has come to be used for any place of safety. I cant think of a better definition for a master bedroom than a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life. Check out this Master Bedroom refresh we did last week for a client in Elgin. SW Tony Taupe with new white trim calmed the highlighter blue walls while a more soothing teal/blue was re-introduced as an accent color in the more dramatic 108 window panels, accent pillows (reused existing bedding) and artwork. A new side table, blinds, lamps and accessories finished the space. The Owner texted me the next day saying Best nights sleep ever! Thank you for my sanctuary!
