Sandford City have added to their pitching riches by tying up deals for starting pitcher Robin Harman and closer Rüdiger Ennis. 23-year-old Harman, who has plied his trade with the Ceara City Renegades since 2010, has penned a three-year contract. I am very happy to be here, said Harman after finalising the deal worth KK7.7m per year. The Doggies showed more interest in signing me than anyone else. Harman initially made his name at hometown amateur club Berghem Stallions before a desire to test himself professional brought about a move to Ceara City, for whom he played 91 times in the Carlsberg Super League. His final game for the Renegades was on the 2nd of August last year, where he left the game through injury and subsequently the rest of the season with shoulder troubles, a problem that troubled him in 2010, too. Closer Rüdiger Ennis finally returns to the Super League on a 1-year deal worth KK10.7m after a years absence when he was forced to sign for the Marshhedge Stealth in Citibank Division 2. I was adament that I could cut it in the Super League but I found my options somewhat limited and at the eleventh hour Marshhedge came in and offered good money that was too good to turn down. I am so happy now I have signed for a team that can challenge for the title and it is an honour for me to play for this club, with this team and for these great fans, the 26-year-old told bulldogs.ki. A late comer to professional baseball, Ennis joined the Edum Invaders in Division 3 in 2006 aged 20. In 2011 he signed for Glenton Hills Chiefs for a year, before stints at Verthollow in the Super League and the Marshhedge Stealth.
