Sandown Race 2. 2. SHAMAL WIND Love this mare. Always been a mailbag favourite. Flies fresh. Races best when she sits in behind the speed and is saved for one last crack at them. Looks suited here. Race 4. 1. FONTITON Blue diamond favourite. What a win on debut when bolting in untouched at the valley! Short price but could start even shorter come race time. Really looking forward to seeing her run today. Race 5. 3. TRIED AND TRIED Really consistent horse. Will get a soft run from the gate. Unbeaten at track. Just got pipped last time and keen he goes one better today. Hard to beat! Race 7. 1. SMARTESTED Just missed first up up the Flemington straight. Must be improvement to come out of that. Get in well at the weights after the claim, dropping back in grade too. Will be there when the whips are cracking. $30-1 for those who are keen to multi them all.
