Sands of Demise by Limitless When I was younger, the angels flew over me Touched my shoulder and suddenly, I could see The world was perfect but even perfection had a toll And I knew it all I could see the sands of time counting down Ticking off every second of life Slowly, they all will fall And then we just die Is it a gift? Is it a curse? Who does this hurt the worst? The one who falls, the one who dies? Or the one who sees it happen before their eyes, And has to watch every demise?
