Sandy shared: Crystal, our beautiful 3-legged wonder-collie (adopted through RMCSR) attended the disABLED Pet Rally 2014 on November 1st. The event is sponsored by Nakio’s Underdog Rescue and features some wonderful disABLED dogs participating in an agility course set up specifically for disabled dogs, a fashion show, and doggie wheelchair races. Educational talks included information on caring for disabled dogs and the benefits of massage and Reiki. Eric and Angelyne, the deaf Cattle dog, closed the event with their amazing tricks. The rally was a confirmation of how much “disabled” dogs can really do!
