Santa Barbara Peeps! Santa Barbara will be in the ROSE PARADE this year! Yes! For the first time in over 60 years, Santa Barbara will be in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade! Santa Barbara was in the rose parade from about 1933 to 1949, and won virtually every year for its class or won Tournament SWEEPSTAKES. Yes lil’ ‘ol Santa Barbara! For 2015, Old Spanish Days Fiesta will be representing our beloved community with an equestrian entry. The theme is “Inspiring Stories” and Fiesta will be recreating the most famous wedding in California (prior to the Kardashians ) as told in “Two Years Before the Mast.” This was the wedding party of Anita De La Guerra to Bostonian Alfred Robinson.
