Santa was brought to tears this morning by a little girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful attitude. Here name is Emma and she 4 years old. Santa had to make a stop at the doctors today for some chiropractic care. Lifting all of those presents can be hard on the back. :) As I entered the clinic several kids in the waiting area came up to talk to me, of course Santa did have a bag of candy canes to pass out. Well I sat down next to Emma and her momma. She wanted to talk. she show me her coloring book and asked if I wanted to color with her, so I did. So I listened. When I said something about her momma, she quickly said this is my new momma, Im adopted I told her that her mom must love her very much if she chose to make her her own little girl. No grab a hanky before reading any further! She then said, my old mommy is dead, and my daddy is is in prison. But I love Jesus and Ill be able to see my old mommy when I get to heaven. She then said that everyday she prays for her daddy. I prayed with her and her momma a little bit and told her I would keep praying for her new mommy, her AND her daddy. Thankfully the nurse called me in before the tears came. As I got up to go in she got up and gave me a hug. Santa got the gift today. Please keep Emma and her momma Dawn in your prayers too.
