Santiago is in harmony with the Lord Jesus , who said to the fruiting happen to be his disciples (John 15:8 ) . Are the branches abide in Christ, the vine. A professing Christian who does not bear fruit is separated from Christ (John 15:6 ) . The illustration of the Lord makes a distinction between true and false converts , those who bear fruit and those who do not. The result reveals whether one is in Christ and from Christ . The fruit that glorifies God is evidence of a permanent living faith in Christ Jesus. True justifying faith will be evidenced by works and obedience to the Word of God. I can lovingly invite you today to examine and test to see if your faith is genuine ( 2 Cor . 13:5). If you are truly saved by the grace of God , will give more assurance of salvation . However, if you do not pass the tests given in James 2 and 1 John , rely on the objective Word of God and not in their profession subjet
