Who told you that the selection of Emir is by the majority of citizens, the selection of of Emir of Kano is not a business of every Tom, Dick and Harry, there are outstanding people of character and dignity. Known as #Kingmakers shouldered with selecting contenders who will narrow down the contenders and send the list to the Governor of the state for approval, your, mine or Kanawa consent is insignificant, this is a royalty work exclusively for Kano Emirate council. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi being one of the prince from the Royal family has the right to contest, and if selected and approved, there is nothing anyone can do, and if he wasnt selected, he still remain part of the Royal family and member of the Emirate as Dan Maje, no one can suspend that from him, it is part of him, it is him, my wish and prayer is for #Kano to get Sanusi or someone like Sanusi as #Emir of Kano for the good of Kano and the entire Northern region, Allah ya zaba mana nagari.
