Sarma/Dolma - Vegetarian Joints. Delicious, easy and friendly to the environment. Sarma is used as slang for joint in Turkish, because of the way that the leaves are rolled. It is a delicious vegetarian meal that is cheap and easy to make. Ingredients (click for photo) : Tea cup of rice - /200g/ Black pepper /teaspoon/ Dried Minth /a lot/ Dill /optional/ Onions /fresh or 1-2 old/ Grape leaves /300g/ Jamaica pepper /2 grains/ Fry the rice in a little bit of oil while adding all the spices and onions /cut in small/, for about 10 minutes. /photo/ Roll the leaves by adding a teaspoon from the filling and place them one next to the other in a casserole. You can see how to roll the leaves in this video that we made for the recipe. Once all the leaves are rolled add 3 cups of water and boil them until the water is almost completely absorbed. Pull it off the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. I recommend making a garlic sauce with mayonnaise and yogurt to accompany this delicious dish.
