Sascha was raised around chickens, but they have never stopped being exciting to her ... to chase, to catch and pull feathers from, to eventually mouth enough that they are either severely injured or dead. After daily training for the last 4.5+ years, I have been noticing recently that she has developed a self-control around our chickens that I never anticipated. Without my presence or prompting, she sits and then lays down while our two rogue hens who always get out just cruise around her. They can literally be behind her and/or two feet away and she doesnt seem worried. Just amazed at this incredible learning being I share my life with.
