Sat Nites used to be sacred if you had a boyfriend in the 70s. That was the nite you kept free. We would go to a pub to see a live band or a party where we took our own booze & records, or a friends whos parents werent home. Was so exciting..parking, sneaking back home after hours..These days there is no excitement. Boyfriends sleep at their girlfriends houses..they sleep in until noon..then dont go anywhere. We never went out on a Girls Nite to a Club if we had a boyfriend & our boyfriends never went to bucks nights in Thailand. Was simple & fun back then when we were more restricted..Go Figure.
