Sat morn. Radio 4 is pushing Hitch-Hikers Guide again on the Today programme, esp. the hoopy new tabletised 30th Anniversary of Infocoms user mendacious text adventure. Funny to hear Justin Webb saying of course HHGTG was originally a radio series. When Douglas Adams died, Radio 4 announced the news but stated that he wrote the novels first, *then* adapted them for radio. Not true! \_*.*_/ STRAGS! #Hitchrage! One small claim to pernickety fame is that yours truly immediately emailed the blundering Beeb to point out that not only did DA write the radio version *first*, but that Radio 4 broadcast it! Got a very apologetic response from the editor, & since then the Beebs GOT IT RIGHT! :D #DontPanic!BePedantic! #fightfortheGuide (y)
