Satellite disruption update: Here are some details about yesterdays satellite disruption. Another company in South America inadvertently began transmitting on the AFN Europe EB-9 transponder, causing severe interference with our signal. Around midnight, the AFN Broadcast Center had to take down the AFN Europe signal in order for our satellite provider to trace where this interfering signal was coming from. Early this morning, the company whos signal was causing the interference was identified and notified. Once they ceased operation, the AFN Europe signal returned to normal.
