Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th September 2014 State Athletics Facility - Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre (QSAC), Kessels Road, Nathan Queensland Athletics extends an invitation to all school aged athletes to participate in the inaugural QA Spring Track & Field Carnival. The Spring Carnival provides provides a perfect opportunity for students to prepare for upcoming school competitions or to have a hit-out against other students from various regions across South Queensland. All school athletes of all abilities aged 10-19 years are encouraged to compete. There are no qualifying standards or membership required - everyone is welcome! COMPETITION INFORMATION | DRAFT TIMETABLE | EVENTS & SPECIFICATIONS Entries are taken online and close at midnight on Thursday 4 September. ENTER ONLINE NOW ENTRY FEES $10.00 per event or FREE for QA Platinum Members Late entries will cost $20 per event. Late entries may be accepted depending on positions available in the final program. AGE GROUPS 10 years (born 2004) - 19 years (born 1995) Participants must be currently attending a primary or secondary school Minimum age is 10 years (born 2004). Age is calculated as at 31 December 2014. EVENTS Events will be conducted under QA and School Sport event specifications, hurdle heights and implement weights.
