Saturday, 22nd June EMPLOY THE FORCE OF DILIGENCE! “The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.” (Proverbs 21:5) Diligence is virtue of our kingdom, and the benefits are so immense. Every great accomplishment was driven by the force of diligence. Nothing is done without this force. Diligence is a will, a passion and enablement to see things accomplished and bring them into accomplishments. And diligence goes hand in hand with riches. Diligence makes you stay up late studying when others have gone to sleep; it makes you bow your knees in prayer even when your body feels tired. Diligence gets you working on that project with a deadline and it keeps you going until it is finished. Diligence is the soul of all meaningful accomplishments. Diligence often meets an enemy on its way to purpose called ‘laziness’. Most times laziness doesn’t accept his identity, but he admires the name “Excuse”. His favorite phrase is “I can’t” and he is an expert in the game called “Procrastination”. He accomplishes nothing meaningful and has other people to blame. But we are sure different! We know who we are—the diligent! Hallelujah! Diligence begins in your thought pattern: “The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness”. Think creatively and constructively. Think productively: think solution, and how to bring about increase. “The hand of the diligent maketh rich.” (Prov. 10:4). Convert those good thoughts into action, work on them; use your mind and hands. And the Lord will bless the work of your hands and grant you results beyond your imagination. Employ the force of diligence! Prayer: Dear Father, I’m so grateful for the precious wisdom and counsel of your word today. I take heed to be diligent more than ever. I think productively, constructively and creatively. I produce results by the wisdom of God and accomplish great things in Jesus Name. Amen.
