Saturday, 24th August 2013 LIVING YOUR IDENTITY AS A KINGDOM CITIZEN "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love" --- Colossians 1:13 At new birth, when you confessed the Lordship of Jesus, your identity changed because you have been conveyed from the rulership of the dark world to the rulership of His Son, and as such your nationality changes.Within a twinkle, your position with God changes which affects your personality. As a result of this, there is need to learn what to live for and how to live inother to enjoy the welfare of the kingdom. (Welfare includes peace, joy, divine health, prosperity etc.) However, many of the kingdom citizens (Christians) do not know what it takes to outstand. They are in the kingdom yet they copy the system of the world full of darkness to operate their day to day living and they are defeated in health, marriage, finances, career etc. Living your identity is believing what the Word says you are and see to it that you experience it in your day to day living. Your fatherhood has changed, God is now your Father, only from Him you take counsel for living. It would be a disaster to receive counsel from a personality from the other kingdom no matter how reputable he might seems because he does not know who you are. Beloved, you are the light of the world, a city set on the hill that cannot be hidden. There is a position you must keep in other to reflect your identity as light in the world. You are born to overcome the world not to copy the world. God bless you. PRAYER:Father, I thank you for changing my identity in this world. I ask that you open my eyes of understanding to know my true identity in Christ and the grace to live it in this world in Jesus name.
