Saturday, August 16th at 11:00am CrossFit Louisville East will be hosting a benefit wod for Carragain, a student of one of our members Amy Kelly. Carragain was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer at the age of 3 years old. She is now 7 and has been through radiation, oral & IV chemotherapy. Last August she found out she would have to go through chemo again. In June the MRI showed small growth in the tumor so she has been on a new chemo for the last two weeks. Through all this Carragain has danced, smiled, and brought joy to everyone around her! This fundraising wod will help the family with the cost of her treatment. We will make this a 2 person team WOD (male/male, female/female) and will have 2 divisions, RX and Advanced so that all can participate. Cost is $20/team but we encourage you to donate more if you are able. 100% of the proceeds will go to Carragain. Get your team together now!
