Saturday I went to the Annual Friends of Multnomah County Library used book sale which also included DVDs and CDs....what a mob!....got some great stuff for only $2 each including the Autobiographies of tennis player champions Andre Agassi and John McEnroe, then went on to Old Navys 40% off sale. Like my Mom I LOVE shopping. Also, still playing tennis everyday since the weather is still sunny and in the 70s ! I found out in the wintertime Montel likes to go bowling....now I cant wait!....I love to bowl in the wintertime too....more to come about that later. This week in Portland its Where do the Bartenders go to drink after they get off work contest. There are about 45 places altogether, so I picked out 2 in my neighborhood to go to first (yes, at this rate itll take me the rest of the year to go to each one....I love it!...lol) Anyway in my neighborhood in East Moreland is the Cosmos Lounge: Happy Hour drinks are $2.50 and theres an additional discount to bartenders who come in after 2AM. When I asked for the bar menu I spied something I had never seen before: Chilie Tots! I pictured in my mind tator tots with chilie powder on them. What I got was a mound of food enough for two people. First there was a layer of tator tots, then a layer of real chilie with the beans and hamburger meat, then a layer of shredded chedder cheese just slightly melted, then a layer of onions...yummy! Just as they were serving it to me a guy came in the front door, came right over to my table and said OMG, WHAT IS THAT? Whereupon, remembering John McEnroes famous words, I said You Cannot be Serious!.......lol
