Saturday, July 5th Sail Cruisers, Power Cruisers, Cruisers Cruisers. - The Flash Gordon Cruise / Commodore’s Review All Boats are invited to participate in the 2nd annual Flash Gordon Cruise. The Flash Gordon Cruise (formerly the Round a Bout Cruise) is an annual event where we cruise our vessels to the protected area east of Gordon Park About 6 miles from EYC. We anchor or raft the boats, swim, eat lunch, and enjoy the afternoon with the camaraderie of our fellow members. We then depart Gordon Park in time to muster for the Commodores Review which commences at 4:00. After the review the sponsors are meeting at the Pavilion where we will be grilling the all American Hamburgers and Hot dogs, and swishing them down with Beer. All crews are encouraged to bring a side dish. Special Event: Side Dish Contest. Side dishes will be judged and awarded based on the following Criteria 1. Dishes have to be prepared or assembled on your vessel while on the cruise. Float Plan When: Saturday, July 5 1030hrs - 1100hrs - Cruisers pick up Float Plan at Dock D-59 1115hrs - All participants depart their respective Docks 1215hrs to 1430hrs - Sail, motor, motorsail, paddle, call a tow service, however your vessel is best propelled at any moment around the waypoints on the Floatplan. 1530hrs - Boats muster for Commodores Review 1730 hrs - Social debrief at the pavilion.
