Saturday March 22 – Listen to My Cry of Need “Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.” Ps.142.6 We are faced with different kinds of need every moment in life. There are those with material needs. Others are with social or needs of relationship. Yet, we have some people with spiritual needs. In fact, unless the spiritual needs are taken care of, it is difficult to overcome other challenges of need. What kind of need is facing you that makes you cry? Meeting of our need does not depend on our desperate mode but faith in Christ. There can be enemies pursuing us as if they will catch us but they cannot. The zeal of the Lord is our shield. Thought for Today: We should be zealous for the Lord rather than desperate for earthly needs. O Lord, listen to my prayer. Consider my desperate need for your deliverance from my enemies. Let not those that are pursing me for evil catch me. Weaken the strength of those stronger than me. Listen to my cry of need in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
