As reported by the Washington Post former SNL alum Darrell Hammond famous for his Bill Clinton and Al Gore impressions among many others, broke records when he starred on SNL for 14 seasons — the longest tenure in show history will replacing Don Pardo, the famed SNL announcer for decades who passed away at age 96. The following EPISODE is dedicated to the memory of former cast member star Jan Hooks. As reported by The Daily Mail UK Jan was battling cancer before her transition this past Thursday. The Huffington Post adds, Hooks appeared on SNL from 1986-91 and most recently guest starred on 30 Rock as Jenna Maroneys mother, Verna. She was a regular on Designing Women from 1991-93 and appeared on TV shows 3rd Rock From The Sun[], The Martin Short Show[], The Dana Carvey Show[,] The Simpsons[], Futurama and Primetime Glick[.] While on SNL[] she was known for her recurring character Candy Sweeney of The Sweeney Sisters[].
