Saturday, November 1st - Annual Museum Night On the first Saturday in November every year (this year, thats 1 November), about 50 museums in Amsterdam open their doors from 19:00 to 02:00 and organise special events including workshops, concerts, special tours and performances. Tasty food and drink is also on hand to help keep your energy levels up. Welcome to Museum Night, or, as Amsterdammers simply know it, the n8! Midnight museum magic See Amsterdams museums in a completely new light - after dark! Cant think of where to start? We dont blame you: the choice is immense. Head for a night at the Artis Planetarium, enjoy the Rijksmuseums Night Watch, drink in hand and canape in the other, cycle over to one of the many music performances around the city and just imbibe that festive spirit. Tickets Museum Night tickets include entry to all participating museums, free transportation on special trams and boats and discounted entry to one of the afterparties at Amsterdam clubs. Your Museum Night ticket typically also entitles you to free entry to one of the participating museums (except Artis) on a different day, valid until the end of the year. Tickets cost €18.50 and are available via the Museum Night website from 1 October.
