Saturday morning, Silvia and I were up early and went for bagels - TopicsExpress

Saturday morning, Silvia and I were up early and went for bagels before she left for work. As we were turning onto Bedford Avenue we noticed this red pick-up truck parked on the side of the road with its flashers flashing and as we passed by we noticed these two guys taking Venditto for Senate signs out of the back of it and planting them all along Bedford Avenue (on public property). Since I am as sick of seeing these signs plastered all over the place as everybody else is, I decided to iPhone Video these guys, and thus you can see them in action. I followed them to Bellmore Avenue by the CVS Pharmacy store and then to the LIRR tracks on Pettit Ave, where they did the same thing. I had a chance to photo the license plate too - TRASH22, probably some town sanitation employee engaging in political campaign work and littering up the town rather than cleaning it up! The next day, I am walking down Bedford Avenue at the Bellmore Street Fair and lo and behold there he is...the guy in the video planting the signs and driving the red pick-up with NY plate TRASH22! If this pisses you off as much as it did me, call Kate Murray to complain about the Venditto people putting political signs on Hempstead town property - 489-5000. And if youre pissed off about seeing them on the Meadowbrook, Southern State, Wantagh, or down the median on Sunrise, then call the State HIghway Department and urge them to remove them 378-3552. Lets raise our voice and get stop these obnoxious signs from spreading like cockroaches all over town! Thank you.
