Saturday report:We got underway with sloppy seas, yet the sunshine gave way to calmer seas and it was a beautiful day on the water. Estelle Sanfilippo, Landing, NJ caught a bonito, as did Freddie Ford, Allentown, PA. Vic Treiber was the first to catch a bluefish. The Usual Suspects had a slow day. Jerry tried & tried for that bonito, which were easily caught with a rental rod. Len did all right catching fluke, although most were short. The Solomons & Robinsons had fun reeling in all different varieties of fish! Matt Solomon (10) did not catch on as quickly as Keith Robinson (10) & Brandon Solomon (8); yet in the end they all caught some fish! Paul, Kate & Insa fished hard all day & decided to leave the boys behind next time! We have news of the big blues & will target them on Sunday.
