Saturdays Words: I was thinking about some times in my life, when I was deeply offended by those whom I held most dear, and close. Yeah, I actually woke this morning with close mental connection with those serious violations of trust, and deep trespasses better known as offenseson my mind. Why would I awake with those on the brain? Im talking about the stuff that would break you in half- if you didnt have Jesus on the inside- stretched out from head to toe. The ones that if left unchecked moves from disappointment to bitterness. Yep, I came face to face with some of that this morning- right in the stage before leaving the last realm of sleep and waking up. The realm where the Spirit Speaks to us: Over the years, People have said and done much to me and I have had to let it slide!!! But, this morning when I was confronted with a few of these different scenarios- God said, Its time to let it all go!!!!!! Its time to rid yourself of those offenses, because its clogging up the next level of life!!!!! Oh contrar--- I thought, those feelings and thoughts were gone. Yet, I realized if nothing was there- God wouldnt be calling. God calling between the hours of 6-8am to send me through a cinema of my thoughts; offering me a Panoramic view of my heart- inviting me to get it cleaned out!!! What a wonderful God!!!! Its so strange, because I wouldnt call myself Ms. Transparent! However, I believe its important that I put this out here because, so many of us have allowed our pasts to overtake how we think, feel and respond in the present. Trespasses, Offenses and misunderstandings are threatening to overshadow or eliminate your future. Many quote Dr. Maya Angelous famous word of wisdom to lay a foundational argument for why people are the way that they are. We use her words as rationale to step away from people and relationships. When people show you...believe them! I have quoted those words many times, myself Albeit, powerful and true words; what happens when we show them(people) who we really are? (Oops- I digressed!) At any rate- The Scripture teaches us that Offenses will Come- But, woe unto the one who offends! Today, is the day to Let It all Go! God doesnt randomly bring things to our attention. He brings them with clarity and a definite purpose! When its time for change- go ahead and move forward. Its good for the soul! Remember, God is with us and He Loves us in it, and through it all!!!! And I do mean Everyone!!!
