Saul, a Christian-killer, Jesus-hater, Family-destroyer, religious-zealot was radically transformed by the grace of God and was used powerfully by God to preach the Gospel all around the then-known world and write a third of the New Testament. God takes people who are so full of evil and filth and cleanses them in the blood of His Son and uses them mightily for His glory and praise! We have been rescued from darkness to light! There are many souls out there and some of them are Sauls. We must preach the Gospel and trust that God will save souls. Saul (Paul) would later pen these powerful words under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit - The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:15-17
