The Humane League of Lancaster County’s first ever Pints for Pups event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buchanan Park in Lancaster. The event consists of dozens of beers in which to sample, a full buffet, a raffle, dog-friendly snacks, a costume contest, music from the band Mama Tried and much more! The event is open to everyone 21 years of age and over as well as well-behaved and leashed canine companions. All proceeds go directly to aid the Humane League of Lancaster County in its mission to ensure that every companion animal lives in a safe, loving and secure home. “We’re really excited about this event and it should be a great time for a great cause,” stated Karel Minor, President and CEO of the Humane League of Lancaster County. “Whether people are coming out for the beer, to get a cool pint glass or because it’s something fun to do with their dog, it doesn’t matter as every attendee helps support our overall organization’s mission and that’s what is important,” added Minor. More than 250 people are expected to attend the Humane League of Lancaster County’s inaugural Pints for Pups event.
