Saw, Chef this afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed this tale of a chef (Jon Favreau) who is stifled by his boss (Dustin Hoffman) and is panned by a food critic. Favreau, a novice at Twitter, completely disses the critic in what he believes is a private tweet. His profane rant goes viral and he loses his job. At the insistence of his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara) he goes to Miami and strikes a deal with another of Vergaras ex husbands (Robt. Downey, Jr,) on the purchase of a dilapidated food truck. With help from his former assistant and his ten year old son, Favreau gets the truck whipped into shape and heads back to Los Angeles. The son (Emjay Anthony) takes mini-videos and posts them along the way. The power of the social media provides the truck with an eager clientele at each stop along the way. Its a fun movie. Id definitely go see it especially if you like Cuban sandwiches and beignets.
