Saw a music video a few weeks ago dedicated to Pastors (Pastor Appreciation Month) and saw it again this week. As you may know in my spare time I like to study different ministry styles; to learn and grow in the ministry God has allowed us to oversee. As a Pastors/Leader we all wish we had the resources or the budget to be able to supply every need in the local church. However many times it is not possible to supply all needs. So I came up to my own personal conclusion (I dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing) which really helped me appreciate my Pastor/Leader today. Now I understand that some of you wont understand this and please dont misunderstand this message as a rant. I have realize that Pastors of thriving ministries are taking on so much more responsibilities in their Job Descriptions as the world evolves. I have noticed that Pastors are now also Graphic Designers, Web Developers and even Social Media Consultants. On top of being the Spiritual Leaders, Handy Men, Gardner and a million other things. Once again this is not a complaining rant its a small appreciation to all my fellow colleges. You are not alone and remember we do all this for the Kingdom. Today I appreciate my Pastor/Leader just a little bit more. On top of doing so much he still had time to invest in me. Now if you are not a Pastor and still read this message. Love on your Pastor today. Send him a text message do something out of the normal. READY!!! Because your Pastor is HUMAN too.
