Saw it coming, as soon as I saw the song choice and the bookies odds this week, and especially after weighing up the reaction to some of the other acts last night, but still hoped sanity would prevail and Paul Akister would survive. Sadly it wasnt to be but at least the UK got to see that the Lancaster and Morecambe district has a special vocal talent in its midst. Im proud to have covered Pauls progress in The Visitor and Guardian and hope to follow his career in the music business in future because I believe his voice is too good for him not to be a success as a recording artist. Chin up Paul and be proud of what you achieved!
