Saw some of my friends sharing a heartwrenching nytimes article about the dilapidated condition of Muslims in Gujarat. The article begins with ‘Bal Narendra’ – the stories of an extremely brave kid called Narendra. The writer then quickly moves to 2002 and explains how hapless Muslims were slaughtered in Ahmadabad and around. The writer also mentioned that some Hindu passengers ‘DIED’ in a Sabarmati Express. Yes ‘DIED’, like all of them had heart attacks at the same time. The writer then moves to a Muslim ghetto and talks about the hardships people face there. The article then concludes with another story from ‘Bal Narendra’. Wow! Hats off. This is what I keep talking about. THE VICTIM CARD. WRITING SOME CHEAP ARTICLES TO SEE IF SOME ROMANTICS SHED A TEAR OR TWO. Dear writer, Bal Narendra or Vikram Betal Narendra or Kaal Kapaal Mahakaal Narendra is figment of someone’s imagination. Some wise man even wrote Lalu Chalisa, does it become a plausible source? And what’s with people died in Sabarmati Express? They were killed? They were burnt alive, never forget that. Whatever happened in Ahmadabad and around was in retaliation to what happened in Godhra. And Modi did whatever he could do to maintain peace and calm in the state, deployed RAF, imposed curfew, forced shoot at sight. He asked Rajasthan to send additional forces, Rajasthan denied. He asked MP to send additional forces, MP denied. He asked Maharashtra to send additional forces, Maharashtra denied. And for your kind information MP, Maharashtra and Rajasthan all were Congress ruled states in 2002 but the writer conveniently skips that. And that ghetto? Five minutes time with Google will describe how the area has hospitals, schools, banks and even restaurants and gyms. If you are a Muslim, please do not share everything anti Narendra Modi as a part of your moral duty. Think, analyze and then act. And yes, please come out of the victim mindset.
