Saw something on the news today that really disturbed me. There was a group of kids who for a school project decided to collect food for the poor, needy, and homeless that would be given to them free of charge so they would have a good meal Thanksgiving and Christmas. They found a church who had a food bank and they distributed food collected for this purpose every year. The kids were being taught a wonderful lesson of working and giving to the poor and needy and were working with them. A group has jumped on this and is suing the parents and school for going through a church to do this. The problem I see with this WHAT IS WRONG with it? It is mostly church organizations that do this kind of thing. If this group has a problem with this they should take a little lead and start doing a little helping themselves. I was truly dumbfounded. A bunch of kids trying to do something good for the needy. More should be like these kids.
