Saw this post on Edulift - a non-profit educational initiative with a vision to re-invent Nepalese education into a holistic and experiential-based learning. Their vision is for a new kind of education, where students are learning things that are actually preparing them for life. Only 43.92% of students who appeared for the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams have passed. That leaves more than half of the 10th graders in the country unable to cross the so-called iron gate.
