Saw this tonight on Facebook. Great speech obviously but long. You have to appreciate what a centralized bureaucracy can accomplish when its given the intellect to drive research instead of regulation and a specific mission based on a sense of nationalism and not numbers. We should do this with the war on cancer. Thats why the Chinese worry me, they are one big educated bureaucracy. Think we should take Kennedys advice and start competing again so we stay way ahead, and dont suddenly find ourselves behind a brutal Communist Dictatorship. It takes leadership, unfortunately we dont have that.
