Say what you will about The Cadetss politics, show design, or our traditional of controversial innovation, but I have never seen anyone Ive marched with complaining about having to wake up early or having too much to do and being overwhelmed by day-to-day tasks. Cadets get in there and put in work. Its what we do. Sometimes I see people elsewhere in this drum corps activity complaining about petty things, and I thank The Cadets organization for giving me perspective on whats truly worth whining about: nothing. I have no problem answering the question, Why do you wake up at 6 every morning when you dont have anything going on until 9? I have work to do, and Im going to do it. No excuses.
