Saying night to the girls, I managed to catch Serenity in a display of her neck strength. Had to give the new night nurse a run down... she doesnt like facing the window (apparently as she was trying to turn herself the other way several times that I caught on video haha)... Hes now had a crash course on her codependent Houdini ways & is keeping an even closer eye on her. Other than that, shes doing good. Theyve had to go up a bit on her oxygen assistence, but that could be a part of the new nurse initiation process... hard when the nurses switch up & newbies come in, learning process for all. Haven, to me, looks smaller still. She actually peeked an eyeball at me.. sadly I didnt catch it on my phone , but she was moving her arms, way more active than Ive personally seen her in awhile, so that made my night! Her tubes are still draining, less than before which is good. Now its just a bit of a waiting game to see how long it will take for the rest of her swelling to go down. Will post more details tomorrow, tonight caught dinner w/ Chrissy & Joe before they headed home & they both looked asleep on their feet, so just didnt want to press them for details of the weekend, since I had the niece/nephew this weekend & they cant visit in the hospital. Either way, both babies were beautiful peaceful lil pixies this evening (even if Serenity was being wiggly) and Im Thankful for that! Sweet Dreams Everyone! The Auntie
