Scandals? Not in Nigeria. In our country, no scandal is enough a scandal for any official to take the responsibility and resign. This is Nigeria. Criminals hide behind religious or tribal or regional sentiments to insulate themselves from the law. And the gullible masses are never in short supply. As for the international community, the national fortune is unfortunate for the nation. Once they get easy black gold or diamonds in other places they can wait until when the officials expire then they may go for their throat, while the commoner advertently is always the victim. So dont expect any reaction anywhere by anyone even if human skulls are discovered in Aso Rock Garden. The next thing will be handshakes in Rose Garden or communion in the papal office or Stoning the Satan in Mecca or wailing with Rabbi in Jerusalem. We heard of leaders who drink human blood or bury alive humans and animals on the prescription of sorcerers. The scandalous person in Nigeria is the one that is even surprise.
