Scattered showers and isolated weak thunderstorms will track across the Southwestern South Plains through 6:00pm. The heaviest precipitation may affect areas near Morton, Levelland, Plains, Denver City, Sundown, Seagraves, Seminole and Brownfield. Precipitation should remain fairly light with a couple of hundredths of an inch of rain possible. Winds may gust up to 45 mph near the stronger showers that develop. Movement is to the east at 20 mph. A rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out. Severe weather is not expected. Cary Allen KCBD
