Scenario I wish to offer to you for your opinions: a horse, not - TopicsExpress

Scenario I wish to offer to you for your opinions: a horse, not mine, was put down yesterday. It had suffered an injury. The injury was that it broke its jaw, with a hole in the face large enough you could put your fist through. Bone was protruding from this hole. Allegedly the horse was stalled at the time. However, there are biddies at the barn who seem to think they know best so it is possible a biddy put the horse out then returned him to the stall once the injury was discovered. My question is this: how feasible is it for the horse to sustain an injury of this magnitude in his stall when no reason is found in the stall? Does this sound rather to be a kick related injury? I thank you all for your thoughts.
