School, KU timing rescheduled SRINAGAR, MAR 31: Following the improvement in weather conditions the school timing in Kashmir will be from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm from April 1. “School timing will remain the same as official timing announced by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. The schools will function from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm,” Director School Education Kashmir, Mir Tariq Ali told Greater Kashmir. He said the timing can be rescheduled after assessing the weather conditions. “If the weather conditions improve further, the schools will open earlier,” he said. “Last year the school timing was from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm from April, but we further assess the weather conditions before announcing any change in schedule, he said. KU timing changed Working hours of the University of Kashmir shall be from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm from April 1, 2014. “The working hours of the Registry, Departments/Centres and other units of the University will be from 10.00 am to 4:00 pm from 01-04-2014 till further orders,” Abid Qadri PRO of the Kashmir University said in a statement.
